Commissions

Are you interested in commissioning something original from Vaiva Creative? Below you will all the information you need to know about commissioning an original linocut print, tattoo art or a print design project.

Original Linocut Print

Commissioned drawings are rendered by hand and sent to my client with the opportunity to make potential revisions. Once the artwork is solidified and approved, I transfer the drawing onto a piece of unmounted linoleum, and carve out the illustration.

Next, I roll, press and print with block printing ink in a single color of your choice onto a piece of high quality art paper. Mats and frames are not included as part of the final piece. Ink color and paper stock are included in the price below. An additional fee will be applied to the estimate for more than one ink color. Color and ink availability are subject to change.

Rates for standard sizes and one color ink
(shipping + tax not included):

5"x7" - $75+ USD
8"x10" - $175+ USD
11"x14" - $275+ USD
16"x20" - $475+ USD

These prices include the preliminary drawing, one round of revision, execution and supplies needed to create the piece. Other size and multiple color quotes available upon request. At this time pieces can be no larger that 16x20 inches for shipping purposes. If the piece can be hand-delivered in the Detroit, Cleveland and Chicago areas, the size can be increased up to 20x30 inches.

To ensure that you reserve a commission slot, visit BOOK A COMMISSION, located in the drop down menu at the top of the page! Only one commission slot is available per month. A one time $50 deposit will be electronically collect at the time of booking, and will be deducted from your final invoice of the artwork.

Digital Fine Art Illustration

Similar to a linocut print, digital fine art drawings are rendered by hand on an iPadPro with a set color palette, and sent to clients for approval. Once the artwork is set, the illustration is printed on high quality fine art paper.

Rates vary based on size and detail of the illustration. At this time, digital illustrations can only be sized at 5x7, 8x10 or 8.5x11.

Print Design Project

Some of you may or may not know that I started out my career as a Graphic Designer. You can also book a commission slot for all your print design needs. Print design projects include, but are not limited to:

  • Logos

  • Posters

  • Marketing Materials (ie: business cards)

  • Stationary

  • Packaging

  • Apparel Graphics
