FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions that may give you a little more insight into Vaiva Creative.

GENERAL

Q: Can I still purchase art prints and other related items on vaivacreative.com?
A: Unfortunately the shop is closed and will re-open during the 2023 Holiday Season! Make sure to check back for updates.

Q: How often do you release new collections?
A: If all goes well, I try to do 1-2 art releases a year, once in the spring and once around the holidays. There may be exceptions for mini releases throughout the year, as well.

Q: I see that you have a lot of art geared towards a female audience. Will there be more artwork tailored more towards a male audience in the future?
A: Yes! I’ve had a couple pieces in the works for a while. It’s just a matter of getting the illustrations right for final execution.

Q: Do you ever create artwork that does not have a Lithuanian theme?
A: Yes. Most of the prints and other items I sell have a connection to my Lithuanian heritage, but I’m always up for the challenge to create something new and brings someone else’s vision to life.

Q: Do you do any graphic design work?
A: Yes! My creative background started in Art Direction and Graphic Design. I predominantly take on print projects such as logos, marketing materials and other related pieces.

COMMISSIONS

Q: How do I commission an original Vaiva Creative piece?
A: For more information on getting your hands on your very own Vaiva Creative original, visit Commissions in the drop down menu at the top of the page. To purchase a slot for a commission, click here. Don’t see a slot open, visit my Instagram page for updates on when I’ll be accepting new projects.

Q: I don’t live in the United States. How can I purchase a commission slot?
A: Please contact me in the form below to check availability and arrange payment through PayPal.

Q: Can I select more than one color of block printing ink for a commissioned piece?
A: Yes! I can definitely incorporate more than one color in a commissioned piece. However, each color is carved and printed by a separate linoleum block and will incur an extra cost reflected in the estimate. Approval by the client will be obtained before the final invoice is rendered.

Q: Would you be open to matting and/or framing commissioned pieces?
A: I do not offer these services at this time. However, I do recommend checking out American Frame for affordable custom framing options. Standard sized mats and frames can be found at numerous inexpensive locations such as Michaels, Target and IKEA.
